As you can tell, we've been pretty busy this summer with home improvement projects. We've never liked the decor in our kitchen and bedroom and finally got around to doing something about it. In July, we tackled our bedroom and repainted it from deep forest green to more of a sage green. Then I spent one Saturday replacing our porcelain kitchen sink with a stainless steel sink and new faucet. In August we went to work stripping the wallpaper border from the kitchen. We didn't think it would be too bad, but boy were we wrong. The original homeowners had put the border right onto the sheet rock so it was almost impossible to get off. Once we had scraped and clawed the border off, the sheetrock needed to be patched and textured. We cursed their names more than once. We had planned on texturing and doing the painting ourselves, but by then we were so burned out we just hired a guy who didn't speak much English to do it.

Nice job! I love the toffee color in the kitchen--good choice. Not that I didn't love the flower border though. Congrats on getting BYU football upgrade. We debated forever about whether to get cable so we could have football games galore, but in the end we decided we're too cheap! We're jealous of your game-watching abilities.
And now the truth of it all comes out...we now understand why the home improvement needs!! Oh, all joking aside...we are very excited for you guys! Just a little bummed to lose our only Fam in the area. Corpus just won't be the same!!
I really like your new colors, or did you sell that house? Where do you live now?
Melissa, I have to say you have not changed a bit, nor your good husband.
Your boys look like Chase-LaMont's brother.
Who is reading to your children in the pictures below?
Take care-- say "hi" to your family and extended family.
Your BYU roomates mother
